The Kontio Knife, stainless

Each task requires suitable, practical tools. Hunters, if anyone, respect the nature and everything that lives in the nature. That's why there's an own knife for those that hunt the King of the Forest: the Kontio Knife. By all its nature it respects the bear and the hunter carrying it. The knife is remarkable by its size, but still made expressly for its purpose of use. This version of the Kontio Knife has a varnished curly birch handle and a 15cm long stainless steel blade.

On its pommel, there's a cast bronze bear head. The sheath is made of dark brown leather with brass fittings in it. The shape of the blade is similar as in the Leuku, but it's notably shorter. Thus, when balancing the knife that has a heavy bronze bear head on its pommel, the center of gravity lies around the middle of the knife. When one takes the Kontio Knife out of ones belt, any message gets delivered to the fellow hunters without a word, for sure. Length 31cm, knife 27cm, blade 15cm
