Askarespuukko has thin and sharp carbon steel blade, which is designed for decorative engravings and other finer carpentry . Blade has very sharp tip and it is sharpened all the way to the end. The handle is quite short and sanded smoothly oval, so it is easy to turn in hand. Handle is made from curly birch and it is treated with linseed oil for good grip. The sheat is light brown, made from vegetable oil tanned bull leather and it has a steady belt strap. This knife makes a great couple with model number 9222 Engravings Knife to all kind of carving, engraving and fine carpentry.
