The basket is Finnish craftsmanship from Maalahti, made by Bo-Åke Ljungars. The sides are made of willow, the base of alderwood, and the binding from birch root. The basket has been treated with linseed oil.
This set includes our Butcher's Knife, Bread Knife, a potholder and a bread basket.
The Butcher's Knife is 27 cm with a 16 cm blade. The Bread Knife is 28 cm long with a 17 cm blade. Both have a blade thickness of 1.2 mm. The potholder measures 20 x 20 cm. The basket measures 27 x 18 x 6 cm.
Care Instructions:
The knives have oiled curly birch handles and stainless steel blades. Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe.
The potholder is 50% linen, 50% cotton; wash at 60°C.
The basket should be wiped with a damp cloth, hand washed with mild detergent if necessary, and dried thoroughly.
